There’s No End Game Calls
Hello, my name is Nathan DeGroot,
owner & inventor of my patented turkey
call I've named
"THE RULER"

There’s No End Game Calls

my patented turkey calls.

I have enjoyed the
challenging sport of hunting for 30 years.
I also consider
myself musically inclined, so I crafted the art of music
into the art of hunting by inventing a call which
allows you to entice a turkey
with musical tones of
their, YELPS, CLUCKS, PURRS, CUTS,PUTTS, KEE KEES & GOBBLES.
I invented my turkey call in 1995, and was granted my
Patent in 1999.
I have field-tested my box call for 5
years,
along with the help
of my family & friends with
great succession every season.
We’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Some
pretty amazing hunts to talk about.
I was finally able to introduce “The Ruler” to the
public in the spring season of 2000,
I’ve had a great response from my
customers.

I’ve named my turkey
call “The Ruler”,
because of an
original ruler on the paddle, which enables you to measure your trophy.
I have a unique
design, featuring an open-ended reed.
Creating more sound manipulation, with a tightly held reed at one end and
a loose floating reed at the other,
this gives you a longer range of tone by using the full length of the
paddle and the reed. From a high pitch to a raspy ending yelp.
Each call is handcrafted from red oak, for durability and a longer
lasting tune. One solid piece construction, two-sided call.
Gives you the ability to be numerous amounts of birds.

Each call is
numbered in the order it was completed and tuned to perfection.
It’s packaging
consists of a reusable, convenient carry and storage camouflage pouch with a
belt loop.
Chalk, sandpaper,
playing instructions & tuning tips are enclosed.
I highly recommend that you start having
exciting ENDLESS hunting possibilities by ordering your RULER today.
MY FIRST
BIRD HARVESTED WITH "THE RULER"
May 2, 1995
As the story goes: I was very excited to venture into the woods
that day.
I shocked the bird off, set up my decoy before fly down. Did a fly
down next to the decoy,
which shocked him off the second time. Moved off to the side about
20 yards to wait for him.
I heard a call to my right. It was another hunter using a
mouth call. Luckily he spotted my decoy
and went the other way. The tom never shocked off to that
hunter.
I waited about 3 minutes than gave one yelp out of my box and he
shocked off again.
I got him at 15 yards. What
a great feeling!
My son John was doing
taxidermy at that time & he did a fine job on my first bird.
I take my first bird
with me to all the shows I attend.
